Memorial Weekend Cookout

We had a cookout with some of our closest friends. Andrew absolutely outdid himself: BBQ pulled pork (that had literally been smoking all day), fabulous burgers, coleslaw, and a red white and blue dessert that was a hit. He spent so much time cooking and all that, and his hard work was noticed by all in attendance. Best meal ever! Love you, babe! :)

But thanks so much to Sara (your pasta salad was amazing!!!!), Robyn and Jordan, Melanie, Eric, Joel, and Michelle for coming out to kick off the summer with us! We had a great time!

Out of town guests

Jake and Jim stopped by on their way to San Diego (Jake was getting stationed out there and Jim was driving cross-country with him). Andrew took the day off from work to hang out with them, so they got a lot of great time together. Andrew took them to see the church where we will be getting married, took them and showed them around town, and got to catch up. We went to Double Dave's for dinner in Frisco, and we are pretty sure we found where we will be doing our rehearsal dinner.

Dewey was a big hit, too. He loved all of the attention!

Visit from the boys

Daniel and Connor came over awhile back to spend the night. It was full of Wii playing, and we had a great time. It was nice to spend time with them! And Dewey always loves the attention. :)

Our first wedding gift

While we were in Indy, Andrew's parents gave us a crocheted version of the Lord's Prayer as our wedding gift. Andrew's grandmother made it, and he is so happy that we received it as a gift. It is beautiful and it looks perfect in our living room. Thank you so much for the gift, Jim and Lanie!
