You look around, and staring back at you
Another wave of doubt, will it pull you under? You wonder
What if I'm overtaken? What if I never make it?
What if no one's there? Will You hear my prayer?
When you take that first step into the unknown
You know that He won't let you go
So what are you waiting for? What do you have to lose?
Your insecurities, they try to hold to you
But you know you're made for more, so don't be afraid to move
Your faith is all it takes, and you can walk on the water, too
So get out, and let your fear fall to the ground
No time to waste, don't wait, and don't you turn around and miss out
Everything you were made for, I know you're not sure
So you play it safe, you try to run away
If you take that first step into the unknown
He won't let you go
So what are you waiting for? What do you have to lose?
Your insecurities, they try to hold to you
But you know you're made for more, so don't be afraid to move
Your faith is all it takes, and you can walk on the water, too
Step out, even when it's storming
Step out, even when you're broken
Step out, even when your heart is telling you
Telling you to give up
Step out, when your hope is stolen
Step out, you can't see where you're going
You don't have to be afraid
So what are you waiting, what are you waiting for?
So what are you waiting for? What do you have to lose?
Your insecurities try to hold to you
You know you're made for more, so don't be afraid to move
Your faith is all it takes, and you can walk on the water
Walk on the water, too

Sunday with the Woods
Well...I lied. Haha. I didn't think I was going to blog anymore, but we decided to take our camera with us on our visit to my sister's house this time. We hang out with her and her family almost every Sunday, and we never take pictures. We went over there around 3:00 to play with the kids and visit before dinner. Since the last blog had hardly any pictures, this one is going to be picture overload!!
Paige is going as Alice in Wonderland for Halloween, and she tried on her costume for us. That prompted a passing around of the headband. =)

I snapped LOTS of pictures of Eli. He was giving H-U-G-E smiles and I was trying to capture them.

After that, it was time to go outside. Uncle Andy scored BIG brownie points with Jacob and Paige by playing with them outside!

Eli is not a fan of the grass...he lifts his little foot up, haha!

Travis decided to help him walk in the grass, which he tried to fight at first...

...but he got over it pretty quickly and "walked" to the swingset!

And apparently the swing strap was delicious. =)

Jacob was content to just ride his bike up and down the driveway.

Next it was off to Chili's for dinner...and I have to say: I have been boycotting Chili's because they changed their menu awhile back and took off my FAVORITE things. The smoked turkey sandwich and the chicken club tacos. Both are now BACK on the menu, and I was SUPER excited!! My sister took the opportunity to show off her "guns". Baby Eli weighs in at nearly 30 pounds, and my sister is a TINY little thing. Eli is a total momma's boy and requires being held a lot. And she has built up some SERIOUS arm muscle, this picture does not do her justice. =)

After dinner, it was a trip next door to get frozen yogurt for Paige and Travis. No one else got any. =)

Then it was time to go our separate ways for the evening. Andrew and I stopped on the way home for some Paciugo's. Extra dark chocolate and banana cream pie. SO YUMMY!! If you live in Dallas and have never been to this place...stop what you are doing. Drive there NOW. It's at Park and Preston. Why are you still reading this?? GO GET SOME!!! =)

We love our Sundays that we spend with the Woods, we ALWAYS drive home talking about how much we just love being around them. I have the best sister in the world, and she has such a wonderful husband and three of the cutest kids in the whole wide world! WE LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!!!

It's getting closer!!
So we've been so busy lately, I know I haven't done a blog post since Andrew's birthday and the bridal shower. The end of September brought Robyn's birthday, we all went to The Melting Pot to celebrate (and I stupidly left my camera at home, so sadly I have nothing to show from that!), and we of course had a fabulous time! It was actually one of our favorite trips so far, we had the best service we've ever had, the food was outstanding (white chocolate creme brulee fondue...heck yeah!), and the company was awesome! Thanks for including us in your birthday celebration, Robyn!!
October has been a whirlwind so far! We went to the State Fair (again, no pictures...I'm such a slacker!)and had a great time! We tried the fried beer (not horrible, but not worth buying again) and this anti-hotdog person decided that freshly fried Fletcher's Corny Dogs are a true delicacy! Haha! I loved them!
Then we got another visit from Andrew's older brother, Jon. I DID get some good pictures of them!

And throughout ALL of that stuff...we've been trying to get last minute things together for our wedding, which is just under 4 weeks away! My jewelry-maker finished all of the jewelry that my bridesmaids and I will be wearing, and she did SUCH an amazing job! With Robyn and Sara's help over the span of the last year, we have everything we need for our homemade centerpieces (which we are hoping to raffle off at the reception, they are SO CUTE). I have my final dress appointment coming up, and everything is just coming together! We are SO EXCITED!! We've shopped for our honeymoon (dresses and flip flops for me, tropical shirts and swim trunks for him) and we just cannot WAIT for November 20th!!
So that's about it for now! I don't know if we'll get another post in before the wedding, but there will DEFINITELY be one afterwards! =)
