The Dewey pictures I promised

I couldn't upload any Dewey pictures the other day, so here you go! A whole lotta Dewball!

He's my beautiful baby, he just turned 3 at the end of May. I want to do a post where I show his baby pictures, but I don't have those with me at work, so...another time. Happy Sunday, everyone!

Heeeeeeeeeeere's HARLEY!

So I don't think I've posted a SINGLE picture of Harley, and I just have been so wrapped up doing other things (one of which is CHASING this crazy dog!) that I haven't had the time. But I pulled the camera out, snapped some pictures, and promised Andrew I would bring my camera to work and do a blog update. So here it is.  =)

He's had his second round of shots, he gets the ol' snip-snip here soon, and he is just loving his life. He gets fresh toys to enjoy (and dismember eventually) and has a big brother that loves to hate him, haha. Here's a picture of them right before a scuffle broke out:

It's funny, Dewey growls and swats at Harley from all of these low vantage points: he COULD leave if it bothers him so much (and he does, sometimes), but he usually stays. He likes Harley, deep down. WAY deep down...  =)

Harley weighs just over 18 pounds now, and he's getting taller and taller. Every time Andrew picks up him I tell him that he won't be able to do that for much longer.

He has this funny/weird thing he does: if I stick my leg out, he runs over and jumps up to lean on it. It seems like he's going to do something inappropriate, but he hasn't ever done it, he either just bites at my ankle or he chills and looks around. It's kinda cute...

Trying to get his picture sometimes is challenging. He'll sit still, but then when that orange light flashes RIGHT before the picture gets taken, he LEAPS at the camera. I don't know why this picture makes me laugh, but it does, I can just make out the look of joy on his face...

He is either super serious:

...or letting it all hang out...

...or he has THIS look on his face and that means he's either all-in on our game of tug-of-war, or he's about to take off and run laps around the dining room table:

There are days I not-too-jokingly ask if people want him when they tell me how precious he is, haha. Especially on days where I see that face from that last picture above, because that means it's going to be a very l-o-n-g day. And even though he and Dewey fight like, well, cats and dogs...they ENJOY it. Dewey hasn't slept on the top tier of his cat stand in over a month (and he practically lived up there some days before), he ALWAYS is down where he can swat at Harley for disturbing his nap, haha. He doesn't cry and wake us up at all hours of the night anymore, just when our alarms are supposed to go off. He looks at Harley as his annoying little brother, and I really doubted that it would turn out this good. I am SO GLAD that it did, though, things feel more complete. I didn't even feel like anything was missing, but I guess it was.

He got a bath and his nails trimmed at Petsmart recently, and they sent him home in a precious little bandana (which he hated):

I have some pictures of Dewey but I can't get them up load for some reason, so next time!

Even though he drives us ALL bonkers, this face makes it all worth it in the end:
