Anniversary

So Monday night was our 4-month anniversary of our first date. I knew Andrew was making me dinner, but he wouldn't tell me what it was. When I walked in the apartment, it smelled HEAVENLY! And when I went into the kitchen and saw that he'd made me a homemade chicken pot pie, I was floored!! He knows I'm a sucker for a good pot pie!!



He'd put all of my favorites in there: chicken, Yukon gold potatoes, carrots, peas, and celery. The crust was buttery, the filling was rich and hearty...he did such a great job!!!




He also got some cheesecake for dessert (the man is good!!), which was awesome!




We just sat around, watching TV, and eating our dinner and dessert.



Andrew also enjoyed the little surprise I brought him. His favorite beer is a seasonal beer that is only out for a few months a year, and they're about to pull it until next year. So being the fabulous girlfriend that I am, I bought him a case of it. I wish I'd had my camera out when he saw it, he was grinning from ear to ear!!



We called it a night at 10:00, we were both exhausted! But dinner was so wonderful, the evening was very relaxing, and I know we both enjoyed it.
