This is Haley, she's so adorable!
Jacob had so many people come out for his birthday party, everyone had a great time in the pool!

And of course, the whole family was there to celebrate: the granparents, aunt, uncle, and herd of cousins came up from San Antonio, and Jacob was so happy to have them there! Lots of fun was had in the pool:

It was definitely "break time" and a few kids (and adults) sought some relief from the heat in the shade.

The ground was hot, Paige wandered onto the rocky ground with her bare feet and stood there crying until Travis rescued her. Poor thing!!
She found some shaded ground, and a gate, that kept her busy for several minutes after that.

Jacob decided that for his second cupcake, he needed to blow out some more candles, it was so cute!
Then it was time for some more swimming.
They all looked away while Cousin Abbey threw diving rings around the pool...
...then they all took off in a race to find the most!

Paige took ONE more Cheetos break before the end of the party. I liked all of the ones I took, they were so funny, so I'm posting them all!
Getting ready to leave...
Jacob was VERY sad to be leaving.
But an inflatable pool present from Grandma seemed to make leaving a little easier. Now he can swim at home whenever he wants!
But the best part of the party (at least for Andrew, me, and my sister), was the presence of "Speedo Guy". He had two kids with him. One had floaties on and was swimming (he was maybe 4 or 5), and the other was in his stroller in a kinda-sorta-not really shaded corner of the pool. And "Speedo Guy" left that baby there for long periods of time, which made me nervous since it was so hot. But he checked on the baby now and then. But the speedo look...it kept making me giggling!
Happy Birthday, Jacob, we love you so much and hope that you had a great 3rd birthday!!
After the party, Andrew and I went to see Bruno (eh...hard to recommend, we didn't love it as much as we loved Borat!), and then we went and got the last small load of random stuff from his old apartment.
And it is now empty. We are DONE!
And I'm done with this blog, it took awhile! Haha! We had a fantastic day, and we are looking forward to another fun day tomorrow before the start of another work week.
