We were sitting around last night watching TV, and an ad for eHarmony.com came on. And I said something about it being the best website ever. I meant it. Joining that was the best decision I ever made. I spent a total of a nine months (broken up over a year and a half period) on there before I got matched with Andrew, but it was worth it. He is by far the greatest gift in my life. I really and truly thank God everyday for blessing me the way He has. I cannot imagine my life without Andrew. He makes me feel happy, whole, and extremely loved.
A lot of the times that I tell him I love him, he asks me the same question, "How could you not?" with that adorable little smile of his. But he's absolutely right, how could I not love him? He's funny, smart, handsome, compassionate, loyal, and honest. He loves and accepts me for who I am and doesn't seek to change me in any way. I am the luckiest girl in the world, I really am...
I love you, babe!! The last six months have been incredible, and I cannot wait until we move in together (far, far away from 183!!). Only 26 more days!!!
Alright, so I said last night we celebrated our 5-month. Andrew was so sweet, he stopped and picked up Papa Murphy's for dinner. Apparently Jacob was talking about it, and made Andrew crave some, too. I'm enjoying a cold slice as breakfast while I'm blogging, it's THE BEST pizza! Here's a pic, just for you Jacob, of our pizza last night! Pepperoni and hamburger, yummy!!
When I got home, Andrew had a few surprises for me. He got me a really sweet card for our anniversary, and he bought new sheets for the bed!! He pointed out this morning that these great sheets that we both loved were queen-size...and when we move in, the queen is going in the guest bedroom! Haha! But we're going to go get some in king-size, these are great.
Our bedspread isn't that bright, it's a great shade of deep red, and it goes GREAT with the chocolate brown. Before, we had pale blue sheets, and these just look so much better. Plus, they're a higher thread count, and we both think they feel much softer!! It made me think of that line from Christmas Vacation, when Chevy Chase gets a subscription to the jelly of the month club instead of a Christmas bonus from his company. "Cousin Eddie" (Randy Quaid) pipes up from the back, "Clark, that's the gift that keeps on giving the whole year." It was an awesome present, for us both, and I loved it.
So thoughtful, babe! I love you, and HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!!!
