Then we got ready to go out and run some errands. First up was a trip to Kohl's. I'd never been before, it reminded me a lot of Mervyn's. I needed new sneakers, because my other ones are, well...falling apart. I got them ten years ago, during my sophomore year in high school. They were Tommy Hilfiger's, and I wore them ALL THE TIME for about 5 or 6 years, and they've been my ONLY pair of sneakers for the most part. The sole of the right shoe was falling off, though, so it was time to get new ones.
I ended up buying some New Balance sneakers, I can't wait until this weekend when I can wear them!!
After a little shoe shopping, we went to lunch at Don Pablo's. Their queso was AWESOME. But we each enjoyed a beer, and stuffed ourselves with their sopapillas. There were eight big ones on the plate, we got the last two to go.
Then we decided to stop by Rooms To Go, there's an outlet center near Andrew's apartment. We found a dining room table that we LOVE and are looking into getting.

We went to a second Rooms To Go outlet center to see what they had, and even stopped by Trader's Village to poke around. We both agreed on the way home we liked that first table best, though. Better than the one we'd liked at The Dump, too. So we're working on that right now, there's another place that has it new for about the same price as the "as-is" one at the outlet center.
Andrew's made great progress packing. He got the majority of the kitchen packed up. I think we have 18 boxes total ready to go now.
He cleaned off a lot of his shelf stuff in the living room, too. Here's a before-and-after:
We stayed up late and watched two of his Netflix movies, "The Secret Life of Bees" and "The Uninvited". Both were good, and we thoroughly enjoyed spending the day together. I'm off this Saturday, so we'll get a real weekend this time and I'm VERY excited!
Hope everyone is having a great week so far!
