So...I didn't get to this last night, haha. I'm sorry. Andrew and I were getting caught up on our mutual shows so we're not bogged down this weekend.
This should be a quick blog, so let's get started. Steve The Host seems to be smiling a bit more, that's good! He needs to loosen up and have fun with his job a little bit. Say what you will about Ryan Seacrest: he's a great host. He smiles and laughs and jokes around with everyone around him.
There's a twist?? The judges are the one sending someone home based on America's bottom two? Hmmm. I don't know that I like that. But oh well.
We're starting off with a performance by all twelve acts. Leroy Bell gave it away that they're lip syncing, haha. Except Brian, I think he wasn't, because he messed up. Overall, not a bad performance by everyone.
Some group called Outa Sight is performing before the results. It's clearly been awhile since I turned on my radio, haha, I have no idea who this is or what the song is. Sounds catchy, though.
Marcus is the first to be declared safe, and I'm obviously thrilled! Next is Drew, which I'm also thrilled about. Leroy is safe. So is Brian: not thrilled with that. I genuinely felt his performance wasn't the best. Lakoda Rayne is also safe, I'm happy about that. I think these girls will get better and better. Rachel is safe, which I'm relieved about. Chris is also safe. Josh is safe (thank goodness!!), as is Melanie. My top three are fine, and I'm happy about that. The last act safe is Stacy, and I was genuinely shocked.
So Stereo Hogzz and Intensity are the bottom two. I think Stereo Hogzz should stay.
Stereo Hogzz are singing Beyonce's version of "Emotions", and they sounded pretty good. Their harmonies could've used a TINY bit of work. But I like this group. I think they did enough to stay. Unless Intensity just blows me away. They come out singing "My Life Would Suck Without You". They sounded good until the guy started singing the second half of the song. He fell flat BIG TIME. They're talented kids, but I think this may be the end of the line for them.
Simon votes to send Stereo Hogzz home...kinda shocked. Paula's vote is to send Intensity home, that has to be tough for her. Nicole votes to send home Intensity as well. LA Reid's vote is for Intensity, and that's unfortunately the right call.
So that's it until next week! =)
